«Agricultural Sector of AREC», (Agricultural Sector of All-Russian Exhibition Center) is a subsidiary forming a part of All-Russian Exhibition Center State Corporation. «Agricultural Sector of AREC» specializes in organizing agriculture-related exhibitions and congresses.
The history of Agricultural Sector of AREC began as early as in the time of VSKhV — All-Union Agricultural Exhibition, which gave birth to VDNKh (Exhibition of People's Economy Achievements) and later AREC. There were dozens of profile pavilions and best samples of agricultural products: livestock, machinery and agricultural equipment were demonstrated in our exhibition center. Unfortunately, a lot was lost during the 1990s. However, Agricultural Sector of AREC has caught a second breath today, and we believe that its status has been improved.
As many ayears ago 13 agricultural pavilions are back to use in «Agricultural Sector of AREC» again. We keep them to hold specialized exhibitions and organize permanent expositions as well as to prepare individual agricultural projects.
«Agricultural Sector of AREC» has been carrying out its activities under a tripartite agreement on long-term cooperation in the field of exhibition and fair activities signed by the Russian Ministry for Agriculture, the Moscow City Government and All-Russia Exhibition Centre on July 2004.
An important cooperation agreement was signed between All-Russian Exhibition Centre and German Agricultural Society (DLG) on January 2005. The top priority lines of the joint activity are as follows: conduction of exhibitions and congresses on the most topical subjects: agricultural machinery and equipment, and livestock production technologies.
Our basic objective is to renew the agricultural exposition, which has always been a part of our exhibition complex, which Muscovites and guests of the city enjoyed very much and, the most important thing, which was necessary for professionals coming to Moscow from all over the country. The key goal of the exposition today is to promote high-end Russian and foreign agricultural technologies and to attract investments to develop the national agricultural industry.
Implementation of such a large-scale project of the nationwide importance as a renewal of Agricultural Sector of AREC certainly needs a lot of highly professional employees devoted to their work.
Experts working as managers of «Agricultural Sector of AREC» come from the exhibition industry and have an extensive experience of preparing and conducting the largest Russian agricultural event: the Golden Autumn exhibition. Their only objective is to revive the country's major agricultural exposition and to organize agricultural exhibitions and international forums on a professional and systemic basis using the full range of up-to-date marketing and advanced exhibition management tools.
Our managers have also participated in the preparation and conduction of successful exhibitions both in Russia and abroad.
